Questions & Answers
Can this mask kill the SARS-CoV-2 virus?
Tests have not been carried out directly with the SARS-CoV-2 virus on this mask yet to confirm any beneficial properties. Research establishments and planarTECH partner companies have confirmed that bacteria struggles to survive on the surface of this material. The benefits immediately recognised are that these bacterial resistant properties assist in keeping the mask clean and fresh.
We hope that further research will soon confirm if this technology can provide further benefits or not.
